Icons Of A Decade That Platters thread set me to thinkin.....
Who do you guys think "embodied" the feeling of a decade? For me, it's the Platters in the 50's.....Elton John in the 70's..... Whose work....when future generations listen....will allow them to "feel" what it was like to have lived thru those times? What sayeth The Org? Who "owns" the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's & the oughts? Funk Is It's Own Reward

Björk Dr. Dre 00s: OutKast Eminem Radiohead The Strokes Amy Winehouse Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

That's why I was being "singular minded" in asking the question. Intesested if there can be ONE that does it? Great suggestions so far tho... Funk Is It's Own Reward
