Singers who's singing voices don't match their normal voice

Does anyone else find it disarming when you hear a particularly lovely singer and then hear there natural voice and it sounds completely different to what you expected? Take Stevie for instance, I love love LOVE his singing voice, but the first time I heard him in an interview I was nonplussed eek his voice has such a distinct rasp to it, almost as if he's hoarse. Then there is Prince. I'd never imagine the short skinny motherfucker with the high pitched voice to talk like a real streetwise brotha, he had a deepness to his voice, I bet if no one ever knew what he looked like back in the 70's or 80's but listened fanatically to him and coincidentally met him on the street they'd have no idea he'd Prince the dude singing about fucking people and dancing. Or lastly, Sly Stone, his voice is naturally deep but his singing voice has no baritone to it(except when he's particularly close to the mike like on family affair)
Did Prince ever deny he had sex with his sister? I believe not. So there U have it..

Marvin's = his speaking voice was so soft and sensitive and there's a part of Marvin that was like that vocally but he had other vocal parts where he was above his original speaking voice.

Teddy's = like Marvin's, his speaking voice was very soft and sensitive. Singing-wise it was a totally different matter.

Eddie LeVert = speaking voice is as deep and smoky as Sly's but singing, his voice is much higher (though it's still baritone).

Sly Stone (of course)

Prince (of course)

John Mayer. I like him a lot, but I think his singing voice is a slight affectation, greatly influenced by Joe Cocker. lol

Robert Smith.

Sure he's something of a gimmick singer, not utilizing his real voice in any case, but when you hear him speak with his gentle voice it surprises you every time.

when I listen to Michel'le now, I can hear the squeakiness trying to creep out in her singing voice.

Susan Boyle is one whose nothing matches her singing voice. lol

Michael Jackson when he tried that fake soft high pitched voice, and even his regular low voice didn't match his singing voice.

Beyonce, because she just sounds unmelodious when she speaks

Keith Sweat, dude got a deep radio speaking voice but sings in a whining tone.

Al B Sure have the same deep radio speaking voice but sung in a high tenor

Michael McDonald. Having this husky voice, I thought his speaking voice was going to be husky as well but it isn't, it's very light.

John Mayer also.

lol I remember Michel'e (or however she spelled her name)! Her voice sounded like Minnie Mouse, I swear. Either that, or it sounded like she had inhaled some helium or something. lol I used to have her solo album on cassette, and the first time I heard her speak on there, I was like, "What the hell?!" lol
