Yes! If you like funk, soul, jazz, vibes and great musicianship, you will dig him. Just buy some stuff. Start with a compilation - preferably two discs so that you get a good sampling of his sound. You should also check for Roy Ayers Ubiquity.

My favorite Ayers song is DC City. ![]() I made my own compilation a while back called Roy Ayers Presents...I put on my favorite cuts by him, plus some cuts by RAMP, Sylvia Striplin, and Eighties Ladies (the group Sylvia originated from).
