She said she was in a movie called El Cantante and she thinks that was her Oscar-worthy role but she thinks no one in the Academy saw her movie.

I seen the movie in the #3 bins @ Blockbuster BUT THAT DOES NOT mean its a bad movie. I really want to see it, it's probably good.

i like the movie. but i don't know if her performance was Oscar worthy. if an Oscar even means anything. lol. but that role definitely has been her closest to maybe what is considered being an Oscar performance. IMO Jennifer is a good actress. she's great comedic timing and believable. she's got an "Oscar performance" in her, but that wasn't it.

ANYWAY. Never seen the movie, but I heard it was a waste of time. Either way, it's her opinion, and you can't get mad at someone for thinking they deserve more than they got, especially if they were really into it and gave it their best.
