This song is track 4 on the '54' movie soundtrack (Vol.1).I love the long instrumental intro ("Vertigo"),it FEELS like 1978 or 1979,doesn't it?

I prefer this song to Hartman's more popular hit "Instant Replay",whcih gets annoying really qucik.

Aw,come on Finess,"The Hustle" IS a Disco song smile

Most of the "early" disco songs( 1974-76) were slower and more heavily orchestrated than the later songs, but they're still Disco, you know.Van McCoy was also a great producer, remember these songs that he produced...

***"To Each His Own" by Faith,Hope and Charity (1975)
***"Don't Go Looking For Love" by Faith,Hope and Charity (1975)
***"Walk Away From Love" by David Ruffin (1975)
***"This Is It" by Melba Moore (1976)

He had his own distinctive "sound" back then.

I can't think of a more relentless, knock em' dead Disco song than "Disco Inferno".This groove DEMANDS that you get up and dance!
