Passion Pit

And how are we rating these folks? Just purchased their "Manners" album... it's very entertaining.... very nostalgic... likewise two NZ bands, Computers Want Me Dead and Kids of 88... all very whimsical for a 38 year old... ah, youth...

It's very interesting. My wife adores it, but the vocals are a bit hard for me to take!

Hey finally somebody talk about them. I thought I was the only one in the world who listened to them. I heard about them one day at a fire party and while making moves on the straight dude I asked to hear his favorite songs on his Ipod....when the song "Sleepyhead" came on..I just froze and stopped talking. I had him play that one for me 3 times that night.

I'm just thrilled to hear the noises of my youth being caught and replayed by musicians today. The Reeling, in particular, is such a euphorically glorious tune!

I like the sounds and hooks a lot. Can't take too much of his voice in one sitting. And the lyrics are just too headscratching

I do love To Kingdom Come tho

They also remind of The Avalanches... that aussie group that did Since I Left You and sampled Madonna, a few years back...
