It's available today (Dec 21st) for $3.99 on Amazon. I'm curious if anyone has bought it and what your opinions are of the album.

I bought it with a free gift card (someone gave me one through an e-mail) and it's real good if you like songs that segued into another.

"I Love U" is my jam. But the rest of the album is forgettable, IMO.

I think Mary is one of the most soulful vocalists in contemporary R&B. She's one of the few that actually makes me believe that she feels what she's singing. Despite that, I haven't been musically satisfied with any of her albums since My Life.

I do like "I Can See Color" song from the film, Precious, but I have a feeling that this new album is just what we expect from a Mary J. Blige album. I thought that The Breakthrough and Growing Pains were good joints, but I haven't really been completely in awe with Mary from a musical standpoint since Mary from '99. I thought that the new single "The One" was horrid...so I'm not interested in this one.

"The One" is indeed my least favorite but the others are good especially "In the Morning", "Kitchen", "Color" and "Gonna Make It" (Amazon bonus track).

I love Mary,,,,,but not enough to buy garbage.

Mary's lucky she's releasing this this week. If it wasn't for Christmas she would have flopped so hard.

But with the holidays she should be able to do about 250k to 300k.

I didn't care for the CD, either. I can see why it was delayed for so long. However, the best song on the CD is "Gonna Make It", which did not appear on the commercial version of the CD. It's one of two bonus tracks from the Amazon version. It is an excellent track.
