Robin's singing to his wife. He's not trying to be anyone's sex symbol.

And some of the stuff Prince says is just as gross as you are claiming Robin to be. Robin's not talking about fucking the taste out of someone's mouth. giggle

i didnt say robin was that gross but its just that almost all of his songs while some his love songs have a lot sexual innuendo....but at the end of the day i like his music hes the best blue eyed soul singer ever....better than mike mcdonald

You've never heard Mick Hucknall or Daryl Hall?

it kinda reminds me of Kelis. She had some really great music but didn't really blow up until that Milkshake garbage.

'Milkshake' is not garbage . . . .
it is in my opinion.

nod I love his first album more than any of them. Cherry Blue Skies, The Stupid Things, Shooter, When I Get You Alone.... I'm A Be Alright is my favorite Robin Thicke song.

'Shooter' features Lil' Wayne. . . . but I like it.
The original version of Shooter has no Lil' Wayne, thank the baby Jesus.

I haven't heard it. I saw this performance he did with that Nicki chick neutral I really don't even feel like listening after that.

I didn't actually LOVE his previous album either hmmm

Sidestep is my shit, though pray

And he's hot boff

Pass him over here when you are done!!!

Anyway, the album is cool. Miepele is my favorite track. There are a good number of songs I like. I think it's more acessible than Evolution, but not as musically intuitive as the last album.
Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

My first full listen.
I'm enjoying it.
I like 'It's In the Morning' but it would've been better w/o Snoop.
'Make U Love Me' is joining 'Sex Therapy' in rising rotation
Haven't heard a bad track yet. 'Meiple' is cute.
I like the sly MJ tribute 'Elevatas,' but it didn't need the Kid Cudi intro.
'Rollacoasta' tries to work a metaphor Prince hasn't used. Sounds more Jam & Lewis than Prince though.
The shameless Marvin of 'Million Dolla Baby.'
'2 Luv Birds' is beautiful and romantic. A winner. In rotation.
After two thirds of the album I'm enjoying it. Better than I expected. Certainly better than the impression I got on this thread.
I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

I miss the old Robin Thicke. Back when he had "bed head" and was riding a bike through Times Square.

Gosh, what a typical reply rolleyes lol He really looks like a different person, first time I saw him with his short hair I was like omfg
It's like two different personalities where the long haired Robin was the slightly geeky and energetic singer while the "new" Robin is this smooth sexy crooner.
