Damn she's an idiot.

lol

I guess these days you would be an idiot if you were a female music star and DIDN'T pose nude, or dress half-naked. 'Cause you know, the ones who keep covered don't get the airtime. disbelief

Man, I miss the 90s. neutral
I do, too.

yawn Madonna was doing it before Janet had RN1814 out. These bitches today aren't thinking back to Like A Prayer or whatever. There's something in the industry, someone, some idealism, that says "this is the thing to do on your third or fourth album". They're all feeding off each other, not what Janet or Madonna did 25 years ago.

Doing what? lol!

Janet was still in her "good girl" phase. Madonna never had that. and where did these "someones" get the idea to go a certain direction on their albums? From other female artists that did it years ago.

Don't forget mother Teresa did it before ANY of them. (Oh I'm probably going to hell on a ky slip and slide for that)
We are all so full of doody here

I like Rihanna but I'm not into this whole whore era of hers. Why is it that everytime a music star (female of course) claims that they gave come into their own, they drop their clothes? confused

i dont know, but i wish all beautiful women with hot bodies would do the same.

People still hard up about nudity? and she's not even nude. Do any of you feel the same when you open up Vogue magazine?
Whats up with some calling her a whore? Now, that's pathetic.

Aaaaaand it starts. Someone goes through something deep or hurtful or intense. Then their next album they start taking off their clothes, talking about how "this is the REAL me, this is how I feel, the album is very personal and blah blah blah". Aguilera did it (Stripped). Spears did it (one of her miserable albums; the one with Madonna on it). Madonna did it (Like A Prayer is probably the closest to that theory because it was one of her most personal albums). P!INK did it, a bit, after her first album (although she's a real bad ass!) Even Janet, whom I love, came out all nipple pierced and tattooed and rubber laden with The Velvet Rope. I guess its Rihanna's turn.

She was on Fuse the other day yammering on about how this album isn't angry, but rather a wide range of emotions. yawn Some days she was happy, some she was angry, some she was moody.....yadda yadda yadda. As if an artist being personal on an album is some new concept. That's what happens when you're a packaged product, and a puppet of a record company. You forget who the fuck you are, then they come out a few years later talking about how THIS is their first REAL album, and THIS album is THEM. "Exposing my inner self"..yeah, and your boobies.

I am not against this trend if it results in hot R&B boobage.

Let's hope Jay-Z knocks one upside Beyonce's head next.
