What will be your first NEW cd of the decade.... So what will it be?? What new cd (meaning the date on the back reads 2010) will be your first??? For me it will the January 5th, 2010 release from this lady, on Verve Records (a label that knows how to market someone with vocal ability and not just her sex object side)

Sade, most likely. Janet is due w/ a new CD, so she's on the list. I thought it would be early in the year, but we'll see. The Family is still due w/ a CD any week now. Paul is feverish finishing it up. Brownmark says he'll be working on a new CD. Monte Moir is working on one too, which I'm excited about. Maxwell has one due. So hopefully overall, like 2009, 2008 will be a Prince-related year, as well as a good year for music.

This is the first time probably since 2002 and 2004 when Norah Jones released Albums in January-February that im buying a "new" cd this early on. The Mcphee cd got bumped from October because she was doing stuff with Bocelli and a movie feature. But im looking forward to the more mature vibe on "verve" records from her, which the AI people had no clue about. 2010 is going to be a-ha year for me, not that 2009 wasnt with the new record, but the world tour, a tour dvd, a live album and a retrospective, plus dates in NYC taking shape, i did really need anything else. Although i would like to see Billy Joel do a fucking record, something angry like mid 70's, tight band etc.. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
