I personally think the album is awful. But, you might want to listen to a couple of songs via youtube because different strokes for different folks.

But I deleted the shit off my itunes as quick as possible after one listen.
I still play pokemon. I play warcraft. And I'm awesome.

for me nothing can compare really to Appetite

but will give it a listen

kinda admire Axl for not really wanting to do a reunion, although they would make a killing

hell - they could even do a major tour with Metallica and Faith No More - just like the old days

Album is excellent! Even though It's nothing like AFD or UYI, it rocks. Personally, I'd rate ChD album higher than both UYI one and two. Listen to it and be your own judge wink

Well, the price is really cheap (I have it for about 250,- czech crowns - that's about some 12 $). But you might download it, give it a listen or two and then decide if you want to buy it.

I would admire Axl 100% more if he'd just record and tour as 'Axl Rose'. I can't get behind this "GnR" nonsense one bit.

If you are going to go see them. It's worth picking up a copy as they will perform some new material.

It's not the same as the old band, its something different. The songs imo are more Epic sounding. No youth/anger/energy like Appetite but still Epic.

Hint: a copy exists on the net (without the guitars). Buy a copy but dig for the version without guitars as the songs are very layered.

check out Guns new guitar player

Axl reminds me of Prince, the way he picks new band members, etc.
