That Shaggy Luv Me Luv Me that got to #5 wasn't the one with Janet on it. It doesn't count for her.

Yea, because Janet wouldn't let him use her vocals. Wha?? I'm pretty sure I heard the one with Janet on my radio station. That's why I was like "if Busta's song got on there, why didn't Shaggy's".

Exactly. Hell it wasn't even a big hit anyways, I think it only went as high as #76 on the chart lol it only got to #76 because it wasn't released as a commercial single and this was right before the Hot 100 started allowing radio-only tracks to chart. it was huge on the radio late summer 1998. and its #76 position is from December of that year after it had pretty much died off and Billboard changed the rules. think Aalyiah's "Are You That Somebody?" when you consider the charts for 1998

Her vocals are on the How Stella Got Her Groove Back soundtrack but she withheld the rights to her vocals so Shaggy couldn't put it on his own album that was due out in 2000 so he got some other lady to sing Janet's part. Oh and she recorded her vocals over the phone
