So, Dirty Projectors' "Stillness is the Move" is one of my favorite singles of the past year. It's so many different genres at once and catchy as all get out.



And Solange decided to cover it. She does a great job, imo.

Okay. The music isn't that original (she even uses the beginning harmonies of "Bag Lady"), but there's a joy in her take that I really dig.

Although the guitar in the original is so good! Sounds like an older song that I can't quite place.

Thanks for posting this. I've never heard the song before and love it. It's been playing in my head all day.
