I say more music for Amerie. Perhaps a "come-back" album is in order now, as there is always a way to "come-back".

Here's an idea - maybe next year Amerie wins an american music award and has it ripped from her hands on stage by Toby Keith, who then tries to re-present the award to Adam Lambert? Eh? Whadoyathink?

My question for Amerie and all these artists is how much are they willing to put into promotion? Even if the label doesn't promote well, the artist can do so much on their own for FREE.

A youtube video each week of her singing/dancing/performing/just living life would keep her audience engaged.

Hit up the blogtalkradio hosts and have them spin her music.

Call the music journalists of the top papers and give them an interview.

Get an article in Sister 2 Sister, if you can't get into Essence.

Create a campaign for folks to make a treatment for a video.

There are tons of FREE ways that artists can promote themselves. Especially artists with a recognizable name.

All those dead blues artists who traveled by bus to Chicago just to play 1 gig are shaking their heads at these 21st century musicians.
