A guy in my neighbourhood was just beaten and run over and killed a few weeks ago - in downtown Toronto - because he was gay. I trust that you know fuck all about what it's like to be gay because you clearly don't understand that it takes balls to come out and be yourself at any stage in your life. OK im tired of hearing this will hurt him, bullshit its making people talk about nothing else, look at the response his cover got, i mean give me a fucking break with him not riding the whole thing and his label and AI not cashing in on it now that its out there. People like Freddie Mercury and Elton and others had to hide and suffer the backlash, this guy hasnt at all, he is using it for marketing, call it for what it is.
Yes, because gay male singers are sooooo popular in the mainstream. This is the first I've ever heard about someone "cashing in" on their homosexuality, and I think it's fucking hysterical. And yes i dont see his talent, sorry, he can hit high notes, but he isnt trained or even close to being a singer yet, call me when you got some tracks that warrrant praise, dude has done fucking nothing at all, and everyone is praising him and giving him passes because he can hold a note and scream, that shit wears off really quick, ask Sam Harris if you can find him.
