This is dope*****MJ/Prince French Documentary (entitled "Dr. Prince & Mr. Jackson")...

Don't know if this fits in the MJ thread (I posted in the Prince section as well, so i'll let the Mods decide on where it should go...), but there was recently an acclaimed French documentary about Michael Jackson and Prince----their relationship with each other; their differences and similar attributes as well as their impact on the music and pop culture scene...It's very even handed on both artists and sheds some illuminating theories about their connection...

Extensive Interviews with Alan Leeds, Wendy & Lisa, Nelson George, and Randy Taborelli (***Narration is in French; but the interviews are in English...pretty cool****)...Have fun....

I tried to watch this the first time it was posted but gave up to quick when I thought it was all in some crazy language. I let it play though, this time, and saw only the commentator was speaking that. The interview bits were not overdubed. It was very informative...added truth tot he Bad story, I always figured he was exaggerating in the Chris Rock interview, but Lisa said thee same shit. Eric summed it up for me...took the words out of my mouth on the diference, for me, between Prince and Mike and why I appreciate Price more as an artist.

Two of my favorite musical subjects and I get to work on my French...this is nice, thanks!

Yeah, I saw this when it was posted on OKP.

I love the way it did a segment about Michael, then did a segment about Prince. Then, at the end their stories intersected.

The interviews are great. Especially when they got to the part about the award show and what happened afterwards.

Even though I don't speak French, the narration wasn't too distracting.

I'd love to see this be distributed with English narration for American and English viewers. But I don't think it'll happen because of the music and TV rights, French copywrite laws are Lax to say the least.
