During this years American Music Awards a new commercial will air by COKE entitled REAL MUSIC it will feature MYA and COMMON singing, rapping, and playing live instruments. Interesting that this will air during a show that promotes UN-REAL music in an industry that is getting ready to crash. As they Pass out awards to NELLY AND ASHANTI and AVRIL LAVIGNE they will show commercials featuring the real Artists who should be getting the air time. Sure I know this is what sells and gets ratings, but when will someone stand up and say enough already. I mean GUNS are popular does that mean we should just pass them out and let everyone have them, oh wait almost everyone does. I view the industry of music as a whore house, labels wait for what they can sell, rape the ones who sell and throw them away for someone hotter, sounds like Pimping to me. The Grammies arent much better, they are trying to get ratings too, using a duet with ELTON AND EMINEM and then showing commercials about Anti-GAY violence, does anyone see the double standard here too. True some good artists have gotten through with this years grammies, Floetry, INDIA, NORAH, BRUCE, RAPHAEL, JILL SCOTT to name a couple but if i were them I would boycott the show, im sure Bruce will be asked to perform as will NORAH but if I were them I would say no and not even attend, and then what would they do.
