although im not in my 30's yet im 29 the 80's were indeed great!

80-84 was something else.85-89 with exception of a few things& Some Great Albums&Songs also a Great Run with Rap&a few other things I feel the later part of the 80's is the start of the Problems in Music we still have too this day.

I'm only 22 but the 80s are BY FAR my favorite decade for music.

the 80's was fun...I have some fond memories of it, although I'm not "30-ish"

i wuz born in 1980, so i don't remember anything before '86 or so...what i do remember is that the '80s indeed did rock!!

I loved the 80's had an absolute ball, reall hedonistic days, then I got Married through most of the 90's and now am a free agent again and I am loving the Naughties too.


80's where great times, there was a lot of £$ going around and a lot of people just letting loose and having fun, kinda like the 60's but with shoulder pads BMW's and Champagne! loved 'em

You gotta sit through VH1's "I love the 80's," really hilarious and it points out an era heavily into trends. I'm glad my parents never felt compelled to spend their last $$ so I can be "happy" for a couple of days or months with a My Little Pony or Rainbow Brite. Apparently I knew not to beg for stuff like that. If anything, I think tv was better and music didn't take it self too seriously as a whole. It was a fun decade tho. The one-hit wonders were classic.
