Also, did the fact that she is often accused of lip-synching come up during the interview? If so, what was her response? These are the questions I'd like to hear answered. I've always liked listening to Mariah in interviews, as she has a colorful personality. And, I look forward to seeing her in "Precious," as I loved her in the movie "Wise Girls". I know she has potential as an actress.

But, her response to the question of whether her voice has changed was some ole nonsense. Girlfriend knows she lost a lot of the elasticity in her voice as well as a considerable amount of range. They played a bit of that cover of Journey (?) and I didn't her nothing but whistle and air!!

She might have been unhappy around Mottola, but Mottola kept her disciplined as shit and pushed her toward excellence.

Her music after 2000 leaves a lot to desired for.

Emancipation of Mimi was a good album, but doesn't compare to her self-titled, Music Box, Emotions, Daydream, or Butterfly.

Her voice was still good that time.

Around 1999, the changes became evident. Around the time, she took a deep dive into the r&b thing. Her voice was pretty good that time too, but it was losing the power it once had.

When her voice started going away, she probably said- to hell with the old stuff, now I'll only succeed, when I go full blown r&b. She was probably worried the critics were going to bash her.
