I remember hearing this and thinking Toni was a dude!

I was thinking "Why is Babyface singing a love song with a dude?"

Especially after I heard her name.

BOY was I wrong!!!

This and "Love should have brought you home lastnight" was supposed to feature, Anita Baker. But, because of scheduling issues, Toni was brought in instead.

I've always loved "Give U My Heart," which was billed as "Babyface introducing Toni Braxton." Although it was the first single from the Boomerang soundtrack, it was quickly eclipsed by the extraordinary success of "End of the Road." It still managed to peak at #2 on the R&B chart. Only "You're Making Me High" and "He Wasn't Man Enough" reached the top spot.
