As I've been saying for years, after NE's debut lp [bRalph was always the 3rd best singer[/b] in the group. There's nothing to be surprised about him sounding like crap these days, because he always did. LOL. What is surprising is that he remained the front man in spite of that. But I digress.

BBD's 2nd lp dropped in 1993 when R&B music was going through a transition. I believe yhey would have had better successs if they had released an lp in 1992, or waited til 1994 had had a more mature sound TLC did.

Although, I liked Bobby's prior album too where he worked with Larry Blackmon. Both albums were more edgy than prior NE albums had been which was a nice transition I guess, because the first BBD album was like WTF???? It was good but very raunchy compared to NE.

Seeing the "behind the scenes" about the songs made me feel kind of good. Especially, knowing now that even Ronnie wasn't so gung hu about certain lyrics. I felt like "okay, I wasn't a prude". They were really going for shock value.

It was good, a bit unfocused but really good

New Edition and it's offsprings have been in the game for a long time now with over 24 albums altogether


They could make a good comeback if they kept the egos in check, went to business, and keep Bobby sedated

Bobby never finish the tour because of lack of money NE were making off that tour. He even went as far as saying that he could've make that very combine total as a solo act.

And aren't Ralph, Bobby, and Johnny touring together too as a group called "Head of State"? I could have sworn that was what Bobby said on his "Behind the Music" show that just aired.
