yet another Prince copycat

The Melbourne based Aussie pop act 'Disco Montego'
have just released a new single which has P all over it.

I think its called 'be my baby' and its basically a mix of
Prince's 'Erotic City' and 'Lets Work' to name a few.

The singer even makes a gallant effort to sound like
Prince throwing in P's traditional funky 'eeeww' screams
all over this track.

The song is currently being played all over the FM radio
and I swear everyOne that hears it thinks its Prince.
-"If U don't like,
what U see here
-get the FUNK out."

yeah the AAAOWA! screams r Princely . . . .i saw them at Melbourne's RUMBA when i went 2 c BonJovi,was 3rd row . . . .it was a gr8 performance & they r a band i would pay 2 c a live gig of theirs,cos like Jovi,P!NK & Taxiride,the music is live & sounds brilliant.

in the video & especially the live performance,it looked like they were doing a Michael Jackson tribute show!!

the dance moves & all,& the way they sing, just with that tone in their voice,. . . .
these 2 lead guys in the band used 2 be Kaylan,a rnb duo in 2000 they had a couple of great songs,"rock me al lnite' & another one that was gr8 but cant think of the name.
i guess this song is a way of them,besides being unoriginal . . .letting everyone know who their musical heroes r . . . .MJ & P . . .not a bad combo i say smile
