i don't think domestic violence is funny what so ever. shame on you for making a joke like that.

That's just what it was...a JOKE...I don't condone violence but i'll call somebody stupid in a heartbeat for not defending themselves. Like I said in an earlier post, I'll be damned if I let ANYONE COME INTO MY EVENT AND TOUCH ME

She was probably in shock & definitely caught off guard. Should she be ready to fight every person that comes up to her? Or should she be relaxed & pleasant @ her own fucking book signing? Come on hammer

Once again, orgers making me despair for humanity. Some of you are disgusting.

I suggest some of you watch the girl talk outside her performances, she's painfully shy and very introverted which makes this attack even more confusing.

How in the world could someone get angry at her? Makes me wonder if they were mentally stable at all.

Anyway, what does radio overplaying her song have to do with her? How is that her fault in any way? Use your brain, idiots. Violence is never okay or joke worthy and unprovoked violence is unforgivable.

Yea, that does make it worse. I certainly wouldn't wanna do public appearances where people could get that close to me again. & the dude must have been off mentally. sad

Did he slap her because of the book or because radio played 'Bleeding Love' non-stop for like 6 months last year? confuse

Wow funny, did u get that out of your 1001 sick jokes book .....no i didn't think you did.....

Try harder next time to be funny.....real hard confused

Only if you try harder at not being as much of an ass as the guy who slapped her seems to be. Now, please insert a 'nice' chip into your frontal lobe and show some respect because I never intended my statement to be a joke in the first place. I simply asked a two part question. Part 1 was whether the guy slapped her because he didn't like the book; and Part 2 was a true statement because radio stations did play 'Bleeding Love' non-stop for months after it's release. I remember reading and hearing more than one person, on this site, other sites, and in my daily travels say how much they hated the song and wanted to slap her for it even though it wasn't her fault that it was played soo much. I like the song even though I believe that it wasn't the better song from her debut album to play in such heavy rotation. Honestly, I would have preferred that radio stations had played this song non-stop instead:

You're getting pissy with me because you and a few others interpreted my statement as being a joke apparently. How am I guilty because my words were misconstured and misinterpreted by others? I find nothing funny about assault nor do I think she should have hit him back because two wrongs don't make a right and karma comes back to those who do malicious things to other people.

In the end, dude really just screwed himself anyway because he assaulted her in front of hundreds of people at a public event and there's nothing he can say or do in court that can deny that fact. She had better press charges on his ass too. This recently happened to Simon Cowell's ex-girlfriend and I'm glad she pressed charges on that nutjob instead of hitting that crazy person back. Let the law do it's part instead of taking matters into your own hands and screwing yourself in the long run.

Seriously, some of you "people" on here are pathetic. If it was your wife/girlfriend, mom, sister, who got punched I guarantee that you wouldn't find anything funny about it. And for the people saying they would have done this or that, please. Nine times out of ten you are the very same people who would have gotten your asses beat.

For one thing, she's a woman, two, she was unexpectedly punched in the face, most of the time these sorts of things happen so fast, you don't always have the time to react like you would want to.

Why people getting so damn offended? She got decked, she left, case closed. People making it seem like she went into a coma or something. Relax people. Being attacked about it on this message board, but mofos will laugh in a heart beat if a comedian makes a joke out of it. Cmon son!

So you mean to tell me that you've never laughed at a comedian that made a joke out of a serious situation? Because if you havent, then maybe you NEED a sense of humor. <- that wasn't SHADE at all.
