nod he produced her entire 'Jump To It' album.Interestingly, this album was released around the same time as Cheryl Lynn's 'Instant Love' album, which was also produced by Luther. At that point,Luther had only released one album of his own ('Never Too Much') and all of these ladies were begging him to produce their albums, lol.

I've always liked Luther's productions for other artists and his work with Change better than anything he ever did as a solo artist. He had a slight funky side to him.

As for his own stuff, I love his first album and his second album is OK. But after that, he became dull as hell.

Add Carrie Lucas' "Show Me Where You're Coming From" to that list.

After a dry spell, this Luther Vandross produced track brought Aretha Franklin back with a hit single and a gold album of the same name.
It was tinkled funk and catchy. Her scatting on this was off the meter.
Nice tune indeed.
