I never heard anything about Marlon beating his wife only heard that he did file for divorce in the early 80s but changed his mind. Also, read from several sources that Marlon didn't believe in corporal punishment for his kids because of the impact it had on him growing up. Also, Michael and Latoya have commented positively on Marlon and his wife's marriage, and the women that was Jermaine's common law wife, didn't have any negative thing to say about Marlon in her book. She stated that Marlon didn't really hang around the family much, and she commented that they were happily married. They've been married for over 30 years, so something must be working.
