Not to mention she's not even recognizable in that cover. It's not that we don't see her face, but those shots that are used for promotion either don't really look like her at all or there is often something covering up a considerable portion of them.

I've actually always thought she was a pretty girl that made herself up to look ugly. The pictures of her with brown hair before she was famous show a good looking girl imo. I don't know how anyone could say the way she makes herself up now is at all flattering.

about the covering of the face thing, it's not that she's not comfortable with who she is, it's part of her image.

granted, i usually despise people who rely so heavily on their image that they've got to doll themselves up to go to a movie (marilyn manson, puh-leeeze), but seriously, it's her IMAGE. image =/= the actual person.
