is that what you mean confuse

Well, we hardly ever see a frontal shot of her used for promotion. At the award shows she has some sort of a "kooky" thing often covering up her face too. It's just starting to look like she isn't comfortable at all with who she is (hell I'm surprised she hasn't gone plastic surgery in that case already).

I mean, this is okay. She's just a rather unattractive girl made to look like a hot one - it's perfectly typical also in real life as many of the women who dress up the sexiest aren't usually of the most attractive kind naturally.

But this is what I am talking about:

Not to mention she's not even recognizable in that cover. It's not that we don't see her face, but those shots that are used for promotion either don't really look like her at all or there is often something covering up a considerable portion of them.

Arnotts

I've actually always thought she was a pretty girl that made herself up to look ugly. The pictures of her with brown hair before she was famous show a good looking girl imo. I don't know how anyone could say the way she makes herself up now is at all flattering.

Its called cashing in on an idea that you feel needs to be milked more, i love how artists make it seem as this is their "vision" when it was someone dude in a suit that said, "no, lets hold off on a new one, lets slap those tracks on the last one change the cover and get people to buy this again, since they already liked it."

nod

and she said there ar 8 new songs? that's nearly a full new album right there. lol

exactly but the concept sounds hot to me. i can't wait for this to come out. i wanna hear the goth/industrial stuff. i was just thinking the other day i'd love for her to make more edgy music and less pop so this should be good!!

she is not ripping people off if you can just buy the extra cd on i-tunes without the old stuff

it has been a while that her first single came out and at that time i just thought she was another pop singer

but now it appears she is more than that - and i am finally ready to buy her record so this is a nice idea if you ask me

that's exactly what i'll proably do!!

Lawd, I hate when artists do this shit. Why not just put 8 new songs on a whole new album instead of manipulating your fans into buying the same album. I hate this re-issue shit with a few new songs added. It just seems so tacky and lazy to me, but that's just my twocents

I like it when artists put both out at the same time, letting the consumer chose which one to buy. Mika, Madonna, Maxwell, and plenty others have done this, instead of putting two copies of the same album out later. Often times I've put off buying a CD while being suspect of a future spec. ed. version coming out later. If both are available, I'll buy the deluxe the first week it's out. It's usually cheaper, and I get whatever extras are on it.

nod When they give you the option of either a normal CD or the deluxe, I don't mind, but her album came out last year and she's just re-releasing it with additional material, which annoys the piss out of me. She should have offered this deluxe addition when her album initially came out. Just my twocents

looking forward to it. intentionally didn't buy the US release because i wanted the extra 4 or 5 tracks from the European version. i'm guessing those won't be on here either, unless it's a 2-disc. but i will pick it up finally, nonetheless.

he thinks modern production sounds and techniques are the influence of late-80's Taylor Dayne records. and that it's a change for the better. that's just one example.

so, you know, when people have very strong opinions that they like to belabor to the point of obnoxiousness, take them lightly, because they're usually the ones with the most retarded opinions of anyone. and like i said, it's just one example.

just sayin'. shrug

I think she's not pretty at all.

She always covers up her face.

Next to Madonna on that one fashion show, you can easily tell how clumsy GaGa's face looks.

about the covering of the face thing, it's not that she's not comfortable with who she is, it's part of her image.

granted, i usually despise people who rely so heavily on their image that they've got to doll themselves up to go to a movie (marilyn manson, puh-leeeze), but seriously, it's her IMAGE. image =/= the actual person.

let us enjoy ourselves, this rhythm is ill. i want to sit on your penis

I don't think so. There are lots of artists that would LOVE to be doing stuff like that, but can't really afford to when they are playing bar gigs in Hollywood at 22 years old.

no, she chose that image because it appealed to both her and her fanbase.

i'm guessing prince chose the purple loving, god fearing image to distract from his lack of looks and height?
