Top 100 Albums of the 1980s

And now we get to my favorite decade- the 1980s. biggrin

Here is my list! I know it's a bit top-heavy with my favorite artists, but it's an honest reflection of what I like. I could have extended it well beyond 100, but I'll leave it at that.

Thanks to your recommendation, I'm trying to find Don Blackman's album! It's proving quite difficult here, though. mad

about 6 months ago, i was working really hard on trying to come up with a top 100 albums of the 80's (and other decades) on rateyourmusic. i've even got non-published lists for every year back to 1967, but i never got around to compiling the decades lists. i think, as always, it will take you sitting down with me with a notepad and forcing me to pick A or B to get it done lol

terrific list.

2 of your Top 5 will also be in my Top 5, and another in your top 10 will also be in my Top 5.

It will take me some time to compile this list, but i will do it... will be an incredible challenge!

70s first, though... should be finished Monday.

I'll take that as a compliment. razz My ultimate goal is to have every year ranked in which I own at least five albums. The 60s and 70s will be easy since I don't own as much from those decades. As for the 90s and 00s dead

But seriously, making these lists are fun. geek

This was incredibly difficult, as the 80s are by far my favorite musical decade. There were some albums that albums that were incredibly hard to leave off, but... that's the nature of lists.
