Good thread...I have many of Mr. Miller's joints and the cat is killin' on the bass. Good compositions too.

I LOVE his debut album, and I love what the lil' stuff Luther Vandross contributed.

I also love love looooove that whole Jamaican State scene(Lenny White & Twennynine, Marcus Miller, Tom Browne, Weldon Irvine and my fave, Mr.Don Blackman) music

Yeah, Luther's input on "Suddenly" is well recognisable (also on Marcus' 2nd album... i think hmmm). They were a major production-force (Luther / Aretha / Cheryl Lynn / etc ) cool

Yeah, this is the album that pissed alot of people OFF....



Tutu (1986).

Its too damn bad, because its a solid album IMO.

I remember in the summer of '84,he had that hit single "My Best Friend's Girlfriend".I sorta liked it back then,but it sounds soooo dated now lol
