love that album. too bad he's only put out one real one since, and only half of it was worth listening to.

I just said this about Prince's "Gold", but I have to say it here too: This album, and song, is definitely the height of George's personal and legal and label troubles. It defines that time period for him. It's grown up, it's dark, moody, it's angsty, but beautiful. I really have to be in the mood to listen to it, but when I do, it's quite awesome. I've never been disappointed w/ a GM album.
