Katharine McPhee "Say GoodBye" the way a BALLAD should be done Since about only 3-4 artists nowadays can really nail a ballad, properly, its like a breath of fresh air when a new one comes along. Katharine Mcphee's "Say GoodBye" from her seoncd album, and first for the Verve Label, is pure perfection, piano and vocals, case closed, no samples, no midtempo beats thrown in. Im curious who actually did the production on this, possibly David Foster, it sounds like his old style of playing and production. McPhee nails the vocals without blowing them off with un-necessary scatting. On the side note this album is the direction that they should have took with Katharine from day one, her first album was ok, but tryin to turn into an rb chick like everyone else, with production by Danja was very bad plannin, scary that it was under clives watch that happend.
