Yeah he did say he would stop saying the 'n' word. He and Richard were different even though their comedy was alike at the same time. Richard would use the 'n' word but he said it with such eloquence, you almost didn't hear it but you heard Mooney say it more abruptly that it made even black folks feel uncomfortable.
