she does make them, they are now just used as tour interludes and released for commercial use. the new Bedtime Story video is probably the best video of this decade [Edited 9/1/09 1:21am] You CANNOT use the name of God, or religion, to justify acts of violence, to hurt, to hate, to discriminate- Madonna

The video is mediocre but really...what's the point in making outstanding videos anymore? MTV and VH-1 don't even show videos anymore She would just be throwing her money away.

Its a truly dreadful video. I actually found all that crotch thrusting and grinding difficult to watch..... My view is that if you're going to make a video, put some effort into it - dont just churn out these pointless lights and backdrop shoots. Uninspired and boring. I just wish she'd put some effort and thought into these things.

Yeah,it's obviously something that she didn't put alot of effort into, just like the song itself.I think she filmed it on a day off from the tour? Face it,I don't think we're gonna see alot of outstanding videos from Madonna anymore.Nothing like 'Bad Girl' or 'Like A Prayer'.Those days are long gone.Look at the videos from the last three albums.A few good ones ("Sorry","4 Minutes"),but nothing extraordinary.I thought for sure that "Miles Away" would have an amazing video (since she clearly loves that song so much) but the video we got is simple and lackluster.

Apparently,iTunes has three different versions of 'Celebration' for pre-order:
***2-disc version with the Benny Bennasi edit of "Celebration" as a bonus ($19.99) ***1-disc version ($13.99) ***2-disc version plus 30 videos (different from DVD tracklist) and the bonus track "It's So Cool" ($29.99)

Since then we had: 1)Hung Up: it was good but far from impressive 2)Sorry: boring boring boring plus it was a bad sequel to Hung Up 3)Get Together: the best video 2005-2009 for me but still not on the level of her 80s/90s vids 4)Jump nice hair and nothing more 5)4 Minutes:It had all the ingredients of being a great video but somehow it fails 6)Give It To Me;this competes strongly with True Blue for the title of worst Madonna video ever 7)Miles Away: nice tour footage, bad clothes 8)Celebration: another wasted opportunity/bad styling 7)

This promotional 2CDR album "Celebration" was released by Warner Music Japan
on 28th AUG 2009. It is the pre-release for the Japanese 2CD album which will be released commercially on 30th SEP 2009. The most interesting point is the track listing on this promo. "Burning Up" and "Hollywood" are replaced by "You Must Love Me" and "American Life". Also the track order is slighty different than the announced by madonna.com. We must wait for the final release... CD1: CD2: 01 Celebration 02 Hung Up 03 Music 04 Vogue 05 4 Minutes 06 Holiday 07 Like A Virgin 08 Into The Groove 09 Like A Prayer 10 Ray Of Light 11 Sorry 12 Express Yourself 13 Open Your Heart 14 Borderline 15 Secret 16 Erotica 17 Justify My Love 18 Dress You Up 01 La Isla Bonita 02 Material Girl 03 Everybody 04 Papa Don't Preach 05 Crazy For You 06 Who's That Girl 07 Frozen 08 Miles Away 09 Take A Bow 10 Beautiful Stranger 11 Don’t Tell Me 12 Live To Tell 13 You Must Love Me 14 Cherish 15 Lucky Star 16 American Life 17 Die Another Day 18 Revolver [Edited 9/1/09 4:53am]

Hung Up is iconic, it's truly famous all over the world. It features an impressive image of Madonna. I like Celebration. Personally I hate those videos like Toxic and ALL of Pink's videos, where they dress up as different charakters and do "funny" things. Madonna always had much more style than this, and this new video is fastly edited, each shot doesn't take longer than 2 sec. Plus, I like the dancing. Madonna is embarrasing at times, and I don't find her sexy at all. Especially not when she's flirting with Jesus. The dress is okay. I like the dancers, they wear cool clothes, and actually, we'll soon get another version, featuring Lola and hopefully some of the fans they casted in July!!

Well yes Hung Up is famous all over the world and the video do match the style of the album perfectly but I wasn't impressed mainly because it basically reminded me of a movie which I know very well:Fame and which has been immitated in videos countless times (by JLo and Geri Halliwell among others). Love Profusion (although itself an immitation of the ad) was more special. But that's just me. I do not like Toxic very much either but I find it better than Celebration. Britney is not really impressive as a video artist although Everytime was pretty good. However I think Pink's Sober video is one of the best I have seen the past few years and also Kylie Minogue still does great videos (and surely other artists too) [Edited 9/1/09 5:15am]
