Madonna discusses her next album

In a new interview with Sirius Radio,Larry Flick asks Madonna what her next record may sound like.

Madonna: I love electronic music,so I'm sure that I'll keep doing something in that area.But I don't know who I'm going to work with yet.

An insider reveals that Madonna is going to start work on the album in January.

Celebration Released in Some Countries Today
Some lucky countries in Europe got their taste of Celebration today with the release of the album this morning. One great surprise was the inclusion of a small fold out poster in the CD. Posters were plastered around Ireland advertising the release of the album in the country today as this picture shows.




Some eagle-eyed fans have also spotted some mistakes in the credits on the CD -

William Orbit is credited for production on La Isla Bonita (along with Madonna and Patrick Leonard, strangely) and Die Another Day (instead of Mirwais).
- On the songwriting credits for Dress You Up, 'Andrea LaRusso' has now become 'Andrew LaRusso'.
- And in the songwriting credits for Celebration, 'Ciaran Gribbin' is now 'Ciarian Gribbin'.

I'm glad I don't like it. Unessential euro trash and poor album filler (for an album that had it's fair share, IMHO). Not worth the $30 a download that would have been very redundant (I'm buying the double CD and DVD). I'm starting not to understand the point of the single CD. Only the double album will feature the two new singles. Do they really expect the single CD to be featured more haivly in stores through the years than the double CD? It will also prove for a less successful Billboard debut since sales will be split, no? In times like these, it just isn't all that cute to buy two CDs worth of material (especially when CDs barely sell as it is). Confusing strategy.

I didn't buy any of the albums or singles. I was into Madonna for a couple of months this year, and now the fire is lapsed.

I just picked up the 2-disc set today, and it looks pretty impressive. The packaging is quite nice, and looks better in real life than it does in pictures posted here. I just wish there were synopses written about all of the tracks. I haven't listened yet, but I will soon!

The double DVD only comes out next week, but I'll be getting that too.

The fan video sucks. Enhuffsd or how he's called, [Snip - luv4u], could have been in there as well. It's embarrasing watching this and Lola in that wedding dress is awful.

The dancer's video is much cooler, at least they know their shit.

ok. for a second there, i thought it was going to be the first time in 17 years that i wasn't there to buy a Madonna album the day it was released.

not that i care all that much, since my enthusiasm is pretty much nil for this entire project after seing the track and version list, but i thought maybe they had moved up the release date and hadn't realized it, having stopped paying attention to the entire thing a month ago

I think I might wait until Thursday which is kind of rare for me (with a Madonna new release or any new release that I want). I have a new, important job and I don't want Madonna's greatest hits interfering. If the online prices aren't much better than what retail is offering, I'll pick it up after my Thursday class (there is a shopping center with a Best Buy, Meijer and Target and pretty good chance I'll pick up both at one of those places). I have a long commute so even putting in the lesser of the two discs (haven't decided which one is which yet but I probably favor two since it has my two favorites back to back) that will help.

The release date is September 29 in the US.It's already available in a few other countries.

I plan to buy the 2-disc set,the one-disc compilation and the DVD set.I already got the "Celebration" maxi-single (import).I'm hoping they will soon announce a vinyl release of the 'Celebration' set.

Does anyone know what's going on with the Sticky and Sweet DVD? They probably want to spread out these releases,but I hope we get it before Christmas.It's being released on Warners,surprisingly.

The cover sort of "grew on me".I never really had a problem with it (although there are better pics they could have used) but now I really like it.I think it's perfect for this project.It works.

The photos and artwork in the CD booklet are excellent.They did a good job with the overall packaging.
