The album cover is growing on me, but it's funny that I like the Whitney version better.

I would say it doesn't sound like her 80s records but sounds very much like R&B, disco, post disco from the 80s. I don't think it totally works but it has some enjoyable enough moments so I don't think it's one of her worst. But it's defiantly the one where she relinquishes the most control since maybe "Like A Virgin"!
