BIG fan here.

Ive always wondered why she and Cult Jam with Full Force Jheri Curls never remade Angel Baby back in the 80's. She has the same vibe of voice as Rosie And The Originals. Ah well, they did All Cried Out which is just as good imo.

Lately,I've been listening to "You'll Never Change" from their first album.Who remembers that song? I love the spoken parts....

I loved this group. The 80s wouldn't be complete without them, for me. They had great ballads and jams. Lisa is everything Jennifer Lopez tries to be which is a real Puerta Rican sista from "around the way".

My favorites were Can You Feel The Beat, Let The Beat Hit Em, and of course I Wonder If I Take You Home. I also liked Full Force´s answer record Girl, If You Take Me Home a lot.
The whole Full Force family created many songs and an atmosphere of positivity that I miss these days.

I loved their songs back in the day, they had that hit Lost in Emotion, it was huge here. I remember I messed up the lyrics then by saying Sarah ka Sarah to tease some girl called Sarah at primary school at the time (I was 11)

"I wonder if I take you home" was one of my favorite club songs(showin my age) and "Let the beat hit em" I really liked too. Very pretty woman.

I used to be a fan. Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam was the second concert I ever attended (with Full Force as the opening act) after seeing Prince on the Purple Rain tour.

I've since sold all my Lisa Lisa albums and now just listen to my comp of the 12" singles. That's enough for me.
