Songs you wish were sang by someone else

Hello

Are there any songs that you think are nice, but the singer ruins thems?

Maybe not the best example, but Britney Spears' ''Not a girl, not yet a woman'' is quite nice, but her voice is terrible.

What else?

Oh come on Cinnie, Pharell´s singing ain´t that bad ( or is it lol ). I really like that album and couldn´t really imagine those songs sung by anyone else except him.
What happened to Out Of My Mind with the Yessirs? I know it´s out there on the internet but was it ever officially released? Or is it one of those unreleased albums like the ones by QTip, MosDef and other artists that never saw an official release?

Best Friend is a tight track, IMO.And I really dig his singing on Frontin and on Beautiful, though those are of course not on his own album.
" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

I like that album. Those songs would have been amazing with professional singers on them though.

Um-brella-ella-ella-ella

I heard Mary J say she passed on the song because she felt it wasn't for her. I don't know if I can hear her singing it, but Rihanna? The song/beat is hot. It needed another voice.

Oh yeah, and anything sung by Janet Jackson and Jennifer Lopez. Amazing dancers, but singers they are not.

I guess I felt this entry was different than "hate on a popular singer" type of post, because Pharrell is more famously known for producing... so my implication was that these were great songs that could have been taken to the next level by any of the singers he had helped to produce in the past.

yes. she ruins the track. Its all Will-I-Ams beat and Kanyes rapping. Needs a better singer.
