Deniece Williams Reissue! Finally, someone woke up and decided to reissue 1982's "Niecy" as a twofer with "Let's Hear It For the Boy" on CD!!! It was previously reissued in Japan in the 90's and you could get it on ebay for around $300, but this is much more reasonable!!!

Man, this just made my day. I pulled my cassette out for this album about a month ago and prayed for a cd issue. Man, such a good album. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Just downloaded "Let's Hear it For The Boy" from emusic.com. She has such a great voice. A few songs on here that sound like should have been hits. * * *

This is good news but I'd rather have 'Niecy' paired with her excellent 1981 album 'My Melody'.

Hope this one gets remastered as well. "Heaven In Your Eyes" (including great skills by George Duke, Louis Johnson and other studio-cats) is recorded on there and it's one of my fave grooves from her catalogue.

Don't know why Sony has pretty much reissued her entire catalog (except for "Hot On The Trail") in Japan but has been slow to reissue much here in the states. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

This is the Deniece Williams album I really want to see reissued, and "Heaven In Your Eyes" is the main reason. What a JAM!

"Hot On The Trail" was the beginning of the end for Deniece. Although, I'll take "Trail" over 95% of the albums currently on the charts right now. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.!
