"In Love & War" is due out August 11th. Judging by the first single "Why R U", do u think this will be a winner or a loser for her?

I give it a good 7 stars out of 10 just off the single alone.

It's hard for me to listen to because I love "Ego Trippin" by Ultramagnetic MC's.

Hum... though I love the fact she tried the bring the old skool flava wuth the beat used on "Why R U" (some fresh air, l was tired of the same drums and synths handclaps on the radio), it didnt catch me... She gotta come up with sumthing better to convince me... Like she did with "1 Thing", which Rich Harrison production credits made it quite original (the GoGo influenecs, and the heavy horns arrangements thru sampling)... So Im waiting for the next single...

I am a big fan-I met her a month ago and she is a very sweet, very gracious person. She has a very unique sound and she has talent-she reminds me of the great Amel Larrieux. I hope this album is a success because Amerie is different from others out there.

Is the album going to be released in the USA?
