Live in Bucharest: The Dangerous Tour DVD

I just saw this for the first time a day ago.

I would estimate that he only sang live on about 40 %, or so, of the songs; it seemed most songs were either fully/or mostly lip-synched. I saw Michael live on Bad and I seem to remember much the same.

Was there ever a time when he actually performed most of his songs live in concert?

Or perhaps not?

Was this one of his better concerts? Or not?

I bought this DVD in 2005 or 2006 and I enjoyed it as much then as I did when I watched in for the first time on HBO in 1992 and that's all I have to say about that.

No this was not one of his better shows, but it's the only concert on DVD at the moment.

Triumph Tour LA
Victory Tour in Kansas City 1984
Bad Tour in Tokyo September 14, 1987
Bad Tour in Brisbane November 28, 1987
Dangerous Tour in Munich 1992

unfortunately they aren't commercially available

even younger artist have more live dvds then michael, and why does he or his team chose this one is a riddle to me too.

because its not his best live performance , it was probally around a time where he was slipping . as in music , as in performance , as in life.

dangerous being with one songwriting team , where he was still not in deep depression( allegations) im no expert on his drug use , but as far as im aware it started to kick in around 93 and after that his tours where all mimed.

fill me in if im wrong

Is the Twentyfive Live DVD still in the works? I hope so. I would also love to have a DVD of the Faith tour.

i think it is an outrage that clips of audience members fainting from the beginning of the show are edited in the final parts of the show, check the light in these clips.

manipulation.

Yeah he sang fine at the end of it. And yeah you're right he did sing live 60% of the time or at least approximately around that percentage.

What I didn't get about MJ is that he didn't even use alternate vocals. Same for Britney. It doesn't bother me to see you lip sync, but at least either redo the vocals or use some alternate takes.

That was the HIStory tour he did that unless he started lipping in the second half of the "Dangerous" tour.

You're right. I got the 2 mixed up. I just never understood why he didn't use alternate vocals to lipsync to. Janet does it all of the time.

He was too focused on his dancing I reckon and just the spectacle of just showing up had fans satisfied anyway so he figured, "fuck why not", lol
