Right I think I posted it earlier. And while we're now hearing this, again, the toxicology reports could come out to be different than what it is still speculated.

Personally, I think they're delaying the release of the report while they build a case against the doctor.

I think the same thing nod

Teddy Riley on working with Michael Jackson

"We talked regularly before I produced the album and he described everything he was looking for, sound-wise. He pulled out one of my songs from the Guy album, which I sing, and he said he wanted that sound. He wanted something driving like that.

"He always pushed me to be different and innovative and strong. He was demanding and we'd work on songs for a long time; we always had to get the mix right. We had the elements, but we had to get the mix right.

"With the sessions, he'd spend a long time doing vocals and sometimes he'd do it on his own. I didn't even have to be there at every session, because he likes to do stuff on his own. He was an inspiration to work with. I kinda learned his way of working and stuck with that formula – so he changed the way I worked on production with artists.

"Since the Dangerous project I've learned to get the writing done before I even approach a song on tape. The writing must be right, you know? Perfect. Before you even start.

"It's difficult to pick out the strongest elements on the album. Is it my music or his lyrics? In the end, I'd say it's both. There was nothing weaker than the other. That's why it was such a perfect album and such a big seller."

Spend The Night, I see lots of similarities in that and his productions with MJ

This was a story going round a few years back - nothing eventuated. Reports are that he was "Christian" (Marlon).

And yes Michael left a lot unsaid, but you have to think if he was so opposed to his children potentially being raised JW he wouldn't have left them in his mother's care.

According to some family members, he had allowed his children to go to Kingdom Hall to be brought up in the same religion as he was. hmmm Though neither of them were Jehovah's Witnesses until 1966. Katherine was brought up Methodist I believe and Joe was Baptist.

I doubt a nutritional type blood workup would show drugs. They have to run specific tests for the different drug classes.

It was intended to be on it, I don't think it's on it, but I forget the reason why. It was on the b-side of "Ghosts", I believe, in international circles (hell I didn't even know he had released that song overseas, I didn't have a computer at home at that time, lol).

On the Line is indeed in the movie. From memory it is in the credits section.

The track was included in the limited edition GHOST video boxset released in 1997, which contained the VHS video, a booklet and CD-Single.

I could've sworn either it was left off the soundtrack or not played in the film, I know either of those things happened because I didn't hear the song while watching the movie.

You'll probably like it (or not, lol) but it focuses on, I believe, 12 black men, going to Washington from L.A. and they were all diverse from a gay couple to paroled (or escapee) father-and-son prisoners to paranoid actors ( lol ) to a world-weary warrior who had been in similar marches before (I think he dies by the time they get there, he's played by Ossie Davis).

Michael Jackson's Strange Behavior Perfectly Fits Lupus
June 27, 2009 by Violet Lynne
Wheelchair One Day, Dancing on a Limo the Next, it Makes Perfect Sense for Lupus
Hiding from the sun. Being in a wheelchair one day. Dancing on a car the next. In pajamas and a robe and slumped over yet another day. Bouts of exhaustion and fatigue. Depression. Inconsistent periods of health and illness. A medicine cabinet full of various pain medications that usually wouldn't be taken together. Symptoms that seem to come and go without warning.

Taking another look at some of the odd behavior of Michael Jackson over the years; it is a perfect match to him being a Lupus sufferer. If indeed he was. Lupus is a disease that is far more widespread than people realize; and grossly misunderstood, and unsupported by both medicine, research, charitable donations and basic compassion or basic manners.

Michael Jackson did a disservice by hiding and not being an advocate for this condition; or even just being honest. The disease has been diagnosed since the1600 s and there has never been a drug developed specifically for its treatment. People continue to shun and mistreat Lupus sufferers from employment to ERs.

The only treatment is to use a malaria drug to suppress the overactive-misdirected immune system and then treat the other symptoms. Most often symptoms are pain, fatigue, depression, general malaise, fevers, sun sensitivity, and the list goes on. Within that list is another extensive list of conditions; such as pleurisy, migraines, meningitis, kidney failure, heart failure, sciatica, etc. All of which have other symptoms, most of which include pain. This supports why a Lupus sufferer can have several types of pain medications prescribed to them simultaneously. Lupus sufferers are treated for symptoms.

Over 1.5 million people suffer from it, 90% are women; the majority of those diagnosed are minorities; and it is estimated many more are afflicted but undiagnosed because of the difficulty in diagnosing it. It is primarily diagnosed by eliminating other diseases and by confirming a checklist of symptoms over time. Most have to have it for a number of years before they get a confirmed diagnosis. If it is particularly aggressive, they could die before they get that diagnosis.

As for some of the strange behaviors of Michael Jackson that could actually be attributed to the disease; take the molestation trial and the vast changes in his appearance and his alleged health conditions. Surprisingly, this is very characteristic of Lupus. Life-threatening symptoms often won't even show up on conventional tests such as X-rays or CT scans, yet patients clearly are suffering from breathing or other problems. Heart attacks and deaths from atherosclerosis between the ages of40-50 are common. Lupus sufferers frequently are sent away from hospitals because tests are negative and return near death still baffling the doctors with no positive test results despite their grave condition.

The pain is devastating. Lupus is an autoimmune disease and no one has just one autoimmune disease so there are often different types of pain treatments. It is not uncommon for people with Lupus to be in good health one day and bedridden the next; and then without warning have unexpected healthy days again. It is not understood by the medical profession, the patient, or family, friends, employers or colleagues. It is very difficult to be the sufferer of such a disease from every aspect because you are often discriminated, berated, and misunderstood.

It is unfortunate that Michael Jackson wasn't brave enough to help get the word out to the medical community and everyone else what a devastating disease Lupus is, and the realities of how the disease works. There are over 1.5 million Americans that could have really benefited from it. More to be diagnosed every year. More worldwide.

As I went through YouTube, I've noticed something weird. If you google "Michael Jackson screwed and chopped" or "Michael Jackson slowed", there's like 30 videos or more of MJ songs being screwed and chopped! People are definitely showing respects in interesting ways. I'm listening to the "slowed up" version of "Butterflies" as I'm typing this.

AP source: Michael Jackson's inner sanctum chaotic

By THOMAS WATKINS (AP) – 8 minutes ago

LOS ANGELES — With towering ceilings and an elaborate facade, Michael Jackson's rented Beverly Hills mansion was the epitome of opulence.

Inside, on the top floor, the scene was less elegant, according to a law enforcement official.

Clothes and other items were strewn about and handwritten notes stuck on the walls. One read: "children are sweet and innocent." And no one working in the house was allowed upstairs to clean up the mess.

The description of Jackson's private sanctum provides a glimpse into how the pop star was living in the weeks before he died. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing, also told The Associated Press on Monday that Jackson's personal doctor administered a powerful anesthetic to help him sleep, and authorities believe the drug killed the pop singer.

Authorities arrived at the singer's house after his death to find a chaotic scene. The temperature upstairs was stiflingly hot, with gas fireplaces and the heating system on high because Jackson always complained of feeling cold, the official said.

The singer's bedroom was a mess, with items seemingly thrown about and some 20 handwritten notes stuck on the walls.

A porcelain girl doll wearing a dress was found on top of the covers of the bed where he slept, the official said.

The official said Jackson regularly received propofol to sleep, relying on the drug like an alarm clock. A doctor would administer it when he went to sleep, then stop the intravenous drip when he wanted to wake up. On June 25, the day Jackson died, Dr. Conrad Murray gave him the drug through an IV sometime after midnight, the official said.

Murray's lawyer, Edward Chernoff, has said the doctor "didn't prescribe or administer anything that should have killed Michael Jackson." When asked Monday about the law enforcement official's statements he said: "We will not be commenting on rumors, innuendo or unnamed sources."

In a more detailed statement posted online late Monday, Chernoff added that "things tend to shake out when all the facts are made known, and I'm sure that will happen here as well."

Toxicology reports are still pending, but investigators are working under the theory that propofol caused Jackson's heart to stop, the official said. Jackson is believed to have been using the drug for about two years and investigators are trying to determine how many other doctors administered it, the official said. (TWO YEARS?!)

Murray, 51, has been identified in court papers as the subject of a manslaughter investigation, and authorities last week raided his office and a storage unit in Houston. Police say Murray is cooperating and have not labeled him a suspect.

Using propofol to sleep exceeds the drug's intended purpose. The drug can depress breathing and lower heart rates and blood pressure. Because of the risks, propofol is supposed to be administered only in medical settings by trained personnel.

Contributing to this report were Associated Press writers Lynn Elber in Tustin, Calif., Marilynn Marchione in Milwaukee, and Justin Pritchard in Los Angeles.
