Thanx Harlepolis exclaim cool Dig your adds a lot exclaim

- Sass' "Much Too Much" is a popular jam in the boogie scene. Great jam sounding somewhat like Slave. Produced and co-written by Michael Murphy, a year before he formed The System with David Frank.
The System produced this track also for Howard Johnson's second album on A&M Records.

- Vicky D's beat is fierce. I jumped a hole in the sky when i found the single a few years back lol.

- Starpoint ... what can i say ? Very talented band with solid grooves and slowjams. Such a sad loss of Renee Diggs and her hubby Ernesto. My tribute slowjam for them is "I Got The Love" :

rose dove rainbo

- Yeah, that Ritchie Family is a cool production from the Petrus Company. He continued the Chic-sound to a new era. And a sensual diva-cover too.

- NARD ! Waiting eagerly for a new album of him. This talented cat can seriously jam.

- Don is too hip ! Raw peanutbutta jellyjam.

- Unlimited Touch with Miss Audrey Wheeler ! Tight cut with strong rhythm and vocal arrangements. Dig both their albums. The extended singles on Prelude are worth to check too.
Bassplayer Sandy Anderson is mentioned on the track "Inside Out" by Odyssee. Sometime ago i saw online 2 pix of them performing in Studio 54 :

- Cool Kashif-jam by Fonzi "Chic" Thornton. From that same album i also dig the title-track with Jocelyn Brown yellin' "Chile, he's a MESS !" lol
Not shure if it's still posted but i've seen interesting studio-footage of him and Chic, on Nile Rodger's site : http://legacy.nilerodgers...Index.aspx

- Booker's track is a great feelgood party groove !

- Also great that Val Young's debut-album with "Mind Games" has finally been reissued on cd sometime ago.

- Solid funk by Bobby. Motown's own Prince lol A club i used to visit played many jams of him.

Some stuff i posted earlier on another topic lol :

Harlepolis

I 1st got introduced to Fonzi through a Luther Vandross documentary, thats when I found out that he was one of Luther's circle,,,which contributed ALOT to the Chic discography.

Speaking of Nile & Bernard, this is where I 1st heard Fonzi...

Great produced record...

Yeah, Fonz was a good buddy of Luther indeed. He spoke moving words on his unfortunate funeral. From what i've understood, that track from Fonzi on "Soup For One" was supposed to be for a complete album, to be released in 1982.
Before his 1983 project, "The Leader". Apparently there are still a number of unreleased tracks from the 1982 album in the vault. Maybe some some Chic-produced tracks on "The Leader" got through.
These are the titles which fans could trace :

- Don't Throw My Love Away
- Frostbite
- Hold It
- I Can Love
- I'll Change My Game
- I Work For A Living (released on the "Soup For One" soundtrack in 1982)
- Riding
- Who Me ?

Maybe one of you can help me figure the name of this song and who it's by???
I figured it's from between "83-"86.

"You've teased me for the last time girl
You've got my world in a whirlwind and I just can't stop grinnin'
You've got the funnest style sweet girl
With the beats drop down, gonna get down
'Til the last song don't stop spinnin'

(chorus)
You're spinnin' my way (spinnin' my way)
And I've waited for so long for you to come along"...

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
