Been meaning to ask ya if ya think, in addition to Jimi, Freddie is link between 60s blues rock invaders and PFunk guitar army? Though not many cite him as a reference his instrumentals are definitely funky. test | |

As far as "60s blues rock invaders", Eric Clapton certainly dug into his catalog (whether they were written or made signature by Freddie) over the course of his career. And Jeff Beck covered at least one. Jeff Beck, Mick Taylor and Peter Green have done versions of... ...The Stumble This is a pretty decent Freddie King album that Clapton was involved with... ...Burglar There's another tune on that album called Texas Flyer which is pretty funky.
