Poll: Last 10 CDs you bought?

I still buy physical CDs, but for the rest of you, let's call it "albums."

For me:
The Clash, The Clash
Husker Du, Zen Arcade
Minutemen, Double Nickels on the Dime
Still Little Fingers, Nobody's Heroes
Kelly Clarkson, All I Ever Wanted
Green Day, 21st Century Breakdown
Eminem, Relapse
Katy Perry, One of the Boys
T.I., Paper Trail
Off the Wall, Michael Jackson (this was a few months ago)

Bonus blu-ray: NIN, Live Beside You in Time

Y'all?

Haha can you count LotusFlower as 3?? I don't know if i've liked anything well enough or been interested enough lately to actually go out and buy 10 cds.

The ones I have done so:

LotusFlower
Planet Earth
3121
Musicology
Carrie Underwood - Carnival Ride
Carrie Underwood - Some Hearts
Taylor Swift's debut album
Jay - Z American Gangster

before those i'd have to go all the way back to Eminem - Encore I believe.

The cover is one of the corniest and most fun I've seen in a while. It's a camel at a birthday party!

It's pretty good - I'm only about halfway through it. So far seems to have the same acoustic feel of Sky Blue Sky, but not as serious.

My favorites are Summerteeth and A Ghost Is Born - I like the rockier tunes better but they're all good.

Do you have the Mermaid Avenue CDs (Wilco and Billy Bragg doing Woody Guthrie songs)?

5 for the moment of what i bought over the past few months :

1 - Lynne Fiddmont - Flow

Laidback mellow jazzy soul flavas. Lynne formerly sang lead on a rare early 80's single called "Play It By Ear" by the group Cojo,
and later recorded as the duo "Linsey" together with her (ex?)-hubby, former Maze-keyboardplayer Wayne Linsey. She currently tours with Stevie Wonder.

2

Mix of instrumental/vocal-jazz/funk/fusion. Both brothers have been recording through the years as studio-musicians for various artists.

3

Experimental project of vocal/instrumental jazz-fusion and a re-issue from this duo's quite-rare original album in 1982.

4

Great 70's mellow soul which somewhat reminds me of Shuggie Otis' recordings. Absolutely amazed that this mega-rare album is re-issued.
The few original vinyl copies on this independent Oklohoma-based Owl Records occasionally popped-up online and went for sale at high prices.

Previously unreleased sessions from 1982-1983, and printed in limited quantity. Every cd-copy has an exclusive release-code.
Some awesome vocal tracks with great instrumentation thrown in the mix, including leadsinger Michael Jeffries who sang co-lead on Jeff Lorber's "Private Passion"-album.

This is THEE greatest thing from Norman Whitfield's label.

This album doesn't sound like a 30+ years record, its sounds like it came out last week.

I think it's indeed the only album, besides that there are many extra tracks on the re-issue as well. Was surprised to see a total of 19 tracks on there.
That's also an interesting take though how you described the sound of the album as contemporary/current. I never experienced it like that before.
Funny actually that there were 2 artists in the soulscene with almost the same name lol ... Norman Whitfield & Norman Whiteside.
