I hated that song, actually. lol I liked "Ex Factor" a lot, though. nod

Truth be told, radio was a minefield for me in '98. blackeye

This was the end of my junior year and the beginning of my senior year in college. Good times, good times...

FWIW, I hated "Too Close" by Next back then except for the obvious comic relief. I like it more now, but I'm still mystified that it was so popular.

These are the ones I really liked back then, I had just gotten out of High School the year before so I was still a heavy radio listener.

Me too. I never understood how it got to be that big that year. It went number one on so many charts.

I still like the song, I just hate that they consider it "old school" now. confused

My favorite Total song and one of my favorites from Timbaland:

Timbaland & Missy's most underrated hit? (just missed #1)

excited Man, this thread is bringing back memories. I was in end of 10th/beginning of 11th grades in '98. Thats when it was ideal to listen to the radio on a regular basis. I'm telling you....

"Friend of Mine" - Kelly Price
Christion's whole "Ghetto Cyrano" cd was hott, but was downplayed. "Full of Smoke" was my shit!!!!
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I now interrupt my own 1998 R&B thread to bring you the 1998 Jay-Z special:
(he was crossing over on the charts that year anyway)
