Can't wait to get my hands on this book! I have the Curtis Mayfield 4-CD box set and it a must-have.

On a related note...in January,the 1974 movie 'Claudine' will finally be released on DVD.Curtis composed the soundtrack,which features songs by Gladys Knight and The Pips.The movie and the soundtrack is a must-have too!
