One reported said Michael was sooo frail and tiny, he had on make-up that a burn patient would wear! They said his skin was that of an old man's! Michael was really suffering...

His poor body could take all those drugs, especially being on dialysis!!! When his health started fading he came back to the states close to relatives. I think the family knew Michael was in poor health. As usual we are the last to know. I guess Glady's Knight wasn't lying about Michaels' health after all.

I for one believed Gladys. She had no reason to lie and that was way back when.

There's no way he would have been able to do all those shows even if Michael really did take a physical and pass with flying colors. The effed up thing is the people surrounding him knew it.

Add to that the fact he's been working his ass off since he was a kid. sad

Beyonce: “The incomparable Michael Jackson has made a bigger impact on music than any other artist in the history of music. He was magic. He was what we all strive to be. He will always be the King of Pop! Life is not about how many breaths you take, but about how many moments in life that take your breath away. For anyone who has ever seen, felt, or heard his art, we are all honored to have been alive in this generation to experience the magic of Michael Jackson. I love you Michael.”

Wow, go to Amazon. Every album is either in the top ten or in the top 100, even all the obscure ones, plus the Jacksons ones. At least his kids will get some money, unless they just use it to pay off his huge debts.

Oh, Michael. grouphug

"Consciousness expresses itself through creation.
This world we live in is the dance of the creator.
Dancers come and go in the twinkling of an eye but the dance lives on.
On many an occasion when I'm dancing, I've felt touched by something sacred.
In those moments, I've felt my spirit soar and become one with everything that exists...
I become the stars and the moon, I become the lover and the beloved.
I become the victor and the vanquished. I become the master and the slave.
I become the singer and the song.
I become the knower and the known.
I keep on dancing and then, it is the eternal dance of creation.
The creator and creation merge into one wholeness of joy.
I keep on dancing and dancing ....and dancing, until there is only...
the dance. "

Well at least Michael lived a lavish life he really lived it UP!
The people around Michael didn't like the fact that he was abusing drugs, but you can't make someone get help if they refuse it.

We were talking about this in an earlier post, people were getting pissed off and didn't wanna hear it.

For those who grew up on Michael Jackson I know your sorrow is REALLY REAL! I remember getting up early to go watch his videos on VH1, way back then.

The good part is Obama is the President!
The bad part is Michael Jackson dying!

I know he's not invincible but god damn it!!!
The message you are about to hear are not meant for transmission. Should ONLY be accessed in the privacy of your mind. Words are so intense so if you dare to listen.Take off your clothes and meet me between the lines. wildsign

Screen legend Dame Elizabeth Taylor reportedly sparked a medical emergency of her own on Thursday when she collapsed in her Hollywood home after hearing about the tragic death of her longtime friend Michael Jackson.
The Thriller hitmaker passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest at the age of 50.
A representative for Taylor, who coined the phrase King of Pop as she presented him with an award in 1989, claimed the Oscar-winner was "too devastated" to comment on the superstar's death in the hours following the shocking news.
But it's now emerged the actress, 77, is recovering from her own health scare, which prompted her personal physician to make a late visit to her home on Thursday.
According to In Touch magazine, Taylor was preparing to dash to UCLA Medical Center in California to be by Jackson's bedside when she was told of his untimely demise.
A source says, "Liz was getting dressed when the second call came that Michael had died, and she collapsed. Liz is in a state of shock."
"She and Michael had their ups and downs, but she never stopped loving him. Now, she’s grief-stricken beyond words."

When it got to be 50 it was too much. I think he one or two nights like the One Night Only gig would have been nice. Smaller scale, less drama.

You could argue that Michael signed his fate when he himself pushed (and got) to be the front man of the Jackson Five in 1966.

The moment Thriller sold for a world-record setting 40+ million copies (currently 50 million copies), Michael had been pushing himself too hard to break his own record ever since.

He failed. But hot-damn-it, at least Michael had the balls to go for it with Bad!

Number23

Anyone who sails 300ft statues of themselves down the planet's major rivers then allows them to drift off to sea is someone I'd like to have known. Maybe one day a couple of them will pass each other on the Pacific. It's a fact as mad and surreal and soild and known and inevitable as that fact someone as spritelike, someone of almost unreal iconography and celebrity as Michael Jackson can actally die and their body rot to dust. At his peak, he looked like he was lit from within - i remember spasmodcally grooving across the living room when I was eight trying to do the moves in front of my family, reading the lyrics the Bad album, just acknowledging without cynicism or ego that Michael jackson was an otherwolrdly genus who did not move among the same dimentions as the rest of us. Someone born to shift he collective human subconcious up a notch of two. Reading through these posts, it seems that a lot of people projected their young, uncorrupted, innocent selves onto Mike and the lives they would like to have led through him if their comparibly average abilities condem, ned them to lives of conformity - or more their idealised reality of him. I donlt know what i'm saying. I've been drinking since I heard. I'd like to have thought I'd never have given a shit about someone I've never known, but I do. I really do.
