Abnormally Attracted to Sin is the slept on Pop LP of the year! Only did like 41k in it's first week
Now it's already fallen out of the top 40 albums! OUTRAGE! This is Tori's BEST in over a decade! I know lots of folks not feeling the beekeeper - i personally love it, but I can see where it would be a bore for some. American Doll Posse? Some VERY strong tracks but overall, still lacking in the end. This new one? A MUST HAVE. I can't believe ppl aren't more into it -esp on here. It's a masterpiece I tell you! Every listen gets better... [Edited 6/3/09 13:32pm] I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

Since Scarlet's Walk came out in 2002, i'm sure you mean to say "This is Tori's BEST in over 7 years!"
...right? • Did you first think Prince was gay? •
Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.

I agree it's a really great album. I think Tori is one of those artists who people either like or they don't. Her fans buy her stuff, but I think it's hard to get new people interested in her, especially without any radio airplay.
Also, the album was not promoted very much here in the U.S. In the past, it seemed like there were a lot more reviews of her albums in the press. My local paper had a long review of ADP, but no review whatsoever of the new album. Her fans all bought it the first week, but after that no one was interested. Tori doesn't seem to have casual fans. Her fans are either very dedicated or people aren't interested.

So far the only songs that automatically grabbed me were "Give" & "Strong Black Vine".....kinda a throwback to her older stuff. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

kinda not feeling it. while i like a handful of tracks and i think some of the songwriting is top-notch, i think overall, the production is too much of a step back to the adult contemporary Tori of "The Beekeeper" for me.

I love this album, but then I also loved The Beekeeper.
I think she was a little off the mark with ADP (although Dragon is amongst my ultimate Tori favourites), but AATS is another masterpiece. What number did it get to in the States?

dont think this album has even made the uk album chart ??...change days since under the pink went in at number 1.... she has lost nearly all her fanbase with a string of boring self indulgent albums which started with parts of the boys for pele album.....

Love it, I'm not a huge Tori fan, but I think it's her best since Venus.
The first five songs are killer, love the dark synths on songs like Police Me, Give and Flavour are remarkable and even That Guy is on the right side of sassy fun.

It is absolutely her best album in years. Terrific from start to finish. I think after the last couple records alot of fans lost interest, but I think "Abnormally Attracted to Sin" will win many people back if they give it a chance. * * *

Considering that Tori gets virtually no radio or television support, isn't 41k pretty good for her?
I mean, honestly aside from orgers, and my music lover friends I don't really know many people who even know who she is sadly If you will, so will I

It's a very boring album. Nothing on it resonates with me.

The album reached number 20 in the UK charts. . so it lasted one week on the top 75 albums?....

It's okay. Not as adventurous musically as American Doll Posse which was the first Tori album I really liked in a very long time, but not as much of a snoozer as The Beekeeper either.
