Kings of Leon

http://www.youtube.com/wa...re=related

About a minute & 10 seconds(1:10) into into the video they get started. I've been into this band for a couple of years & they just recently got really huge. They're a great band, just thought I'd share this bad ass band if you haven't already. Definitely a band to keep an eye on. They have a very interesting story, they were recently featured in RS which was a great article. Anyway, hope u take some time to listen to them & explore what else they have to offer.

Thanks for the advise but Hell to the NO! If no one is interested in them then fuck'm, I'm just putting them out there to share GREAT music. Their loss if they look the other way.

All I like is 'Sex On Fire'.
Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

Another orger turned me on to Kings of Leon after we talked about 'Sex on Fire' which I'd been hearing on the radio. Once I got the album I latched onto 'Use Somebody' and 'I Want You.' Also like 'Notion' alot.
I've tried threads about them also that went nowhere. Even with videos.

I absolutely detest them. The overly earnest singing brings back nightmares of Creed and Nickelback. If I hear that awful bleating in "Use Somebody" one more time...

some would even say radiohead, but that's not the sound that got my attention...

"red morning light" "holy roller novacine" "day old blues" "molly's chamber"

Radiohead? Seriously? The crap version of Radiohead already exists- they call themselves Coldplay.

They have a decent amount of music for a new band which is kind of cool. Sex On fire has been there 'icebreaker' for the general audience which the band both likes & dislikes, u know how band egomania goes, regardless it's a great song that they created, comes w/ the territory... can't complain about being popular though I guess.

How do u get Creed & Nickelback from KOL I'll never know b/c I despise both of those bands. To each their own I suppose. I think u should give them a better chance w/ a way more open mind. just my opinion. of course outside of P I don't know what ur musical tastes r so I can't say but so much I suppose.

Been a fan since the first album and i do hate to say it but their latest in their weakest, a bit too whiny. Because Of The Times is their strongest effort and has some truly great songs. Apparently their next album is gonna be heavily Blues influenced so should be good!
