yes, of course!!!!
he must be in the 70s now. Not only did he do Donna Summer, Tim Cruise and Flashdance... If I'm not mistaken he was the first who sang the Ma-na-ma-na song later used on the Sesame Street. He wrote many German schlagers.

He was a synth pioneer really, along with his cronies Harold Faltermeyer and Sylvester Levay, but I actually like his less edgy homogenzied poppy stuff like the "metropolis" OST and even Kenny Loggins cheesetastic "meet me half way". Berlins "take my breath away" is still one of my fav pop songs. Its quite a beautiful song to me actually He did a few songs and scores to soundtracks back in the mid 80's, and I like most of them LOL Even though its a few years after his commercial peak, I do actually like this: .....Yep, I went there. I also tend to forget he did Sigue Sigue Sputniks first album. That was probably the last important thing he did, but I still love a few tracks he did during and after his mid 80's commercial period.

speaking of album covers/artwork,I wonder if Giorgio considers Donna Summer's 'Bad Girls' cover as one of his favs? Surely he must love this particular pic:

Giorgio is the shit!
he really was the man in the 70s and 80s. Harold Faltermeyer was his understudy, so you can see how his influence spread. Even today, Moroder's music is never ending. Has anyone heard music by "The Outrunners"? Sounds like Giorgio Morodor inspired, and great dance music. I say long live Moroder!

Yeah-He did an album with Philip Oakey which had "Together In Electric Dreams" on it. GREAT album!!! The most recent thing I remember Giorgio Moroder doing was some of the music for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

There's an import CD out there that features a lot of movie tunes that he wrote. I think it's been out of print for a bit. It has some really rare tracks on there. I snapped it up a while ago when I saw it had Chaka Khan's "No See, No Cry" from the Superman 3 Soundtrack. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

Lets not forget Berlin's "Take my breath away" and "No More Words" were done by him, though Take My breath was the thing that broke the original band apart.
